The process of creating objects is often relatively long, ranging from a few weeks to several years. In contrast, these drawings represent a completely different approach for me. They are unique and full of imperfections, but that’s precisely what allows me to escape. They provide a quick result, often within the same day.
There are two series.
The first begins either with an ink drawing on Canson paper or from a photograph. It is a new technique inspired by comic art, where photography meets digital line work. Textures, lines, and colors are brought into dialogue. In some cases, the drawing is scanned and digitally colored. In others, the process starts from a photo and is transformed through digital inking. The final result is printed using a high-quality pigment-based inkjet printer, ensuring a vibrant and faithful impression of the original, enriched by digital color work.
The second is created directly on gray Canson paper, using a fountain pen with Pilot Iroshizuku ink and Luminance colored pencils by Caran d’Ache.
All drawings are available for sale.
